A free EHR for medical outreach
In numerous medical outreach initiatives, the reliance on paper-based records has been increasingly inefficient and cumbersome. This reliance not only hampers the delivery of effective patient care but also poses significant logistical obstacles in providing high-quality healthcare to underserved communities.
In response to these challenges, Heal in Pocket is dedicated to addressing these limitations and enhancing healthcare accessibility for those who need it most. We aim to achieve this by developing a user-friendly, comprehensive, and secure mobile electronic health record system that is entirely free of charge. Recognizing the unique requirements of diverse outreach programs due to the nature of volunteerism, Heal in Pocket is committed to accommodating and supporting medical outreach initiatives to function more effectively.

Heal in Pocket has forged a partnership with Street Corner Care, a homeless outreach program affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church of San Diego. Currently, our design is specifically customized to align with their unique requirements and workflow, involving the coordination between volunteer students for patient intake and volunteer providers for healthcare delivery.
